Steve Atkinson

Managing Director and founder of the Company. Apprentice trained at David Brown Tractors Limited Meltham from 1973 – 1983.

Trained in all aspects of engineering and product design including administration and business acumen.

Steven retired from the business in May 2017, but still plays an active role in his capacity as Managing Director.

Matthew Atkinson

Site Manager.  Matthew, a family member who has worked in the Company since 1999,  adding the personal touch to support good customer service for the business. 

Matthew holds class1 HGV, car and motorcycle licence, and is a VOSA fully approved vehicle tester for motor vehicles class 1, 2, 4 & 7.  He is also a VOSA approved motorbike tester.

Christine Atkinson

Christine, a Director of the Company, began working for the Company in the year 2000 and is responsible for the office administration. 

Her principal duties involve book-keeping, credit control, invoicing, overseeing, putting new systems in to place, and general office management.

Kyle Atkinson

Kyle began working for the Company in June 2009 as an apprentice, and is now a fully qualified mechanic up to NVQ level 3.

Kyle is also a VOSA fully approved vehicle tester for motor vehicles class 2 & 7.

Sam Wheelwright

Sam joined A & G Motor Engineers Ltd in 2012 as an apprentice mechanic. 

Sam is now a full qualified mechanic up to NVQ level 3 motor vehicles, and level 2 heavy goods vehicles.

Paul Shaw

Paul joined the Company in March 2016.  Paul is a full qualified mechanic, and holds NVQ 1, 2 & 3, along with City and Guilds 2 & 3.
